The NRA is a lobbying group, why is anyone worried about abandoning them? The 2nd amendment is important of course, but not an organization. The NRA doesn’t speak for all gun owners the same as the RIAA doesn’t speak for all musicians. As a country we shouldn’t feel like we need to include the NRA in making positive steps forward. They will either take part in the conversation or not, and if they choose not they should be left behind.
